Sunday

Today was VERY busy. I had bus route as usual this morning. We left at 7:15 like normal. It was pouring rain when we left. I stepped off the covered porch and right into the SUV and still got drenched! It was crazy. Not many kids came today, I'm not sure exactly how many there were, but definitely not the normal amount. We got done with picking them up really early, so we were back in time that those of us who are in choir got to sing this morning! That doesn't happen very often! We sang "Blessed Assurance." I love singing in the choir, and that is the one thing that I miss the most about bus route, not getting to sing Sunday morning. Mrs. Phillips sang a BEAUTIFUL solo that was exactly what I needed, the theme of it, if not the title was "Trust God." Then Mrs. Donaghue sang "God Leads Us Along." They were both songs that are so good, and spoke to my heart in special ways.
This afternoon was when life got crazy. Today is what they called Victory Sunday, I don't know why, but that's what it was called, and they had a meal this afternoon. The meal started at 4:30, so we had choir practice at 4:00, the meal at 4:30 and then church started a little before 6:00. I sang in the choir and then worked in the nursery. The service went long, so as a result nursery got a little bit stressful. Although, there was a little boy named Gilbert, who absolutely fell in love with me!! He is a little snuggle bug, so anytime I would sit down he was on my lap. I loved it!! He even asked me to marry him!! LOL!!

*****Nursery Duty*****

Church didn't get out until almost 8:00!! Once all the kids were gone I rushed to my room and changed and then started cleaning. There was extra work to do so I ended up working longer than the 2 hours that I'm scheduled to work. Oh well, I don't mind the extra hours, but I was/am exhausted.
I do have an unspoken blessing that occurred today, as well as a MAJOR unspoken prayer request. If you think of it, just pray for me PLEASE!!

The rest of my week

Ok, where do I start? I guess with Thursday! Classes went well. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.
Thursday afternoon I went on an hour walk with Mrs. Phillips. It was really nice, as always, to spend time with her. I'm SOOOO glad that God put her in my life. He definitely knew I would need a Godly, older woman's influence this semester. She is SUCH a blessing to me! I love her!
Thursday night we had church. In choir we sang a really pretty arrangement of "I'll Fly Away." I've never heard that song sung in that manner, it was really light and fluffy, BEAUTIFUL! Pastor Dan Helvey from North Carolina spoke, (he also spoke in chapel). He preached a really good sermon.
Friday was an interesting day. The first two class periods were normal, then we had chapel at 9:20, instead of lasting the normal 50 minutes it lasted over 2 hours!! It went from 9:20 until 11:30!!! Pastor Cazis preached a long message, and then he opened it up for us to ask questions about some things that are going to be changing. It was crazy! The last two class periods lasted 15 minutes each! It was different.
I worked from 1:30 until 5:30. When I got back to my room I decided to take a half hour nap. I didn't hear my alarm go off! I slept until 8:00!!! OOPS! I did really need the sleep. I finished writing a paper that was due Monday and some other homework. I was asleep by 11:30 and didn't get up until 7:30! I got over 10 hours of sleep in a 24 hour time period! CRAZY!! I can't tell you when the last time was that I did that! I didn't even do that over spring break!
Today I went out and did bus visitation. It got really interesting when we had finished our route, and our ride never showed up. We were standing on a corner of a road for over 30 minutes! The town that my bus route is in is Brentwood, and lets just say that it isn't exactly the best town on Long Island! There were 4 girls, and I think we were probably the only white girls in a half mile radius! LOL! At one point while we were waiting, this SUV with 2 young black guys in it pulled up to the stop sign, rolled down their window, and yelled, "You ladies are looking LOVELY today!" The 4 of us just looked at each other, and really weren't sure what to say. Thankfully the guys kept on going. The funny thing is, the other 3 girls are from the South, and I'm from the Midwest, none of us even come close to looking like NY street girls! LOL!!

Footprints in the Sand

One night I had a dream.

I dreamed I was walking along the beach
with the Lord..

Across the sky flashed scenes from my life..
For each scene, I noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand,
one belonging to me, and the other to the Lord..

When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.

This really bothered me
and I questioned the Lord about it:
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why
when I need you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied:
"My precious child, I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then
that I carried you."

Just another day!

Yesterday was interesting to say the least. Classes were crazy. I had a test in World History and a quiz in New Testament Survey. Because of things I had been dealing with I hadn't been able to study as much as was needed, and even when I did study nothing would stick in my brain! UGH! I don't really even want to think about it!
After classes I talked one of the people that I was having some issues with. Some things were cleared up and taken care of! PTL!
I had voice lessons at 2:10. They went well considering that I had a really sore throat and my head and throat were full of all sorts of junk! UGH!! Bro. Randall told me that I "frown ferociously." LOL! So I've gotta work on smiling when I sing. :)
After lessons Mrs. Phillips took me to the drug store so I could get some cough drops. They are helping, along with the Vitamin C and Oregano. Bro. Randall told me that this could be allergies, I guess there is really high pollen around here right now. YAY!! :(
I was able to get a HUGE project completed last night. The nice thing is that I was done with it around 11:30, so I was asleep by 11:45. The project is for Christian Womanhood. It's really hard to explain, so I'm not even going to try, but I did learn a lot from it, and enjoyed it, even though it was VERY time consuming. I put at least 20 hours into it, probably more!

More Precious Than Gold

At the present time I'm going through a very rough time in my life. Sometimes the trial seems too great for me. I can't tell you how often in the last 3 or 4 days I have wanted to throw in the towel and gone home. I have wept many tears, which is NOT normal for me. The typical outlook on life for me is one of cheerfulness and sunshine. I'm the one who always sees the good things in the bad, the easy things in the difficult, and the rainbow amidst the shadows.
Right now it seems that any time I start to gain a victory, the devil throws yet another fiery dart at me. No matter where I turn, yet another dart flies at me. I'm really struggling with bitterness, anger, and hate right now. People that I thought loved me have lied about me, twisted things I said, and embellished stories. I have been hurt worse in the last couple of days than I've ever been hurt in my life!
I'm not saying all of this to make you feel sorry for me, but I am say it to say that even through it all, God has been there with me. Anytime I feel like screaming, or lashing back, I turn to my Heavenly Father, He is waiting there for me with open arms. Deuteronomy 33:27 says, "The eternal God is they refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
I know that through this God is going to teach me a lesson that will be very valuable in my life, and one that I would never learn without going through this. "That the trial of your faith being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." -I Peter 5:7

Under His Wings

Under His wings I am safely abiding,
Tho the night deepens and tempests are wild;
Still I can trust Him—I know He will keep me,
He has redeemed me and I am His child.

Under His wings, what a refuge in sorrow!
How the heart yearningly turns to His rest!
Often when earth has no balm for my healing,
There I find comfort and there I am blest.

Under His wings, O what precious enjoyment!
There will I hide till life’s trials are o’er;
Sheltered, protected, no evil can harm me,
Resting in Jesus I’m safe evermore.

Under His wings, under His wings,
Who from His love can sever?
Under His wings my soul shall abide,
Safely abide forever.

Near to the Heart of God

There is a place of quiet rest,
near to the heart of God;
a place where sin cannot molest,
near to the heart
of God.

O Jesus, blest Redeeme
r,
sent from the heart of God,
hold us who wait before thee
near to the heart of God.

There is a place of comfort sweet,
near to the heart of God;
a place where we our Savior meet,
near to the heart of Go
d.

There is place a place of full release,
near to the heart of God;
a place where all is joy and peace,
near to the heart of God.

Back into the Swing of Things

UGH! Classes....again! I wish break could go on forever! It would be WONDERFUL!
So my regular school schedule started once again this morning. I got up at 5, did my normal routine, read my Bible, etc.
First class of the day was English Comp. I found out that I have a narrative essay due next Monday. :( Oh joy!
World History was a blast too (NOT)! I've got a test in that on Wednesday! How crazy is that?!
English Grammar was good. I actually like that class! Mrs. Barnes is an AWESOME teacher, and I actually understand English! That's amazing.
New Testament Survey was ok....nothing exciting, although I do have a quiz in that on Wednesday as well. :`((
Work was good. Actually it was really funny! I was cleaning in the men's bathroom in the administration building when Bro. Dan Donaghue, who is the principle of the Christian school walked in! At first he just looked at me, then he screamed and yelled there is a long haired hippy in the guys bathroom! He did it to get a reaction from the girls in the office, and he did a pretty good job of that! It was sooooo funny!!
Later I was vacuuming upstairs in the administration building when all of the sudden the vacuum stopped running. I checked to make sure I hadn't accidentally flipped the power switch, which I hadn't done, so I went to check the outlet. The outlet was behind a door so I started to go around it when Bro. Donaghue jumped out at me! I screamed for real! Everybody thought it was funny, including me! LOL!

Spring Break

Sadly, my spring break is now over! :( I am SO not ready to go back to school in the morning. UGH! The very thought makes me want to scream! At least I did have a good break, it just wasn't quite long enough to make me want to go back to school!
On Thursday I worked from 9-2 and then from 5-5:45. After church I went home with the Phillipses. I spent the night with them and then all day Friday! It was sooooo much fun! I love the entire Phillips family, they are soooo cool, and funny, and down to earth! They are AWESOME!! Best of all, they really have a heart for God.
Thursday night Mrs. Phillips and I sat up talking well after 11! It is so nice to talk to somebody about God. So often among Christians there is so little desire to discuss spiritual matters. It's really sad.

*****Nichole*****
Friday I didn't wake up until 7:45ish. I read my Bible and prayed, and didn't roll out of bed until between 8:15 and 8:30! It was WONDERFUL! :) We watched "Indescribable" and "How Great is Our God." I have seen those over and over and over, but every time I see them I get goose bumps! They are SOOOO good! After that we frosted the cake that I had baked at my grandparents. My problem was that I had baked the cake, and was planning on making a homemade mocha frosting, but I ran out of powdered sugar, so I took the cake and frosting with me and finished it there. It was a lot of fun! Nichole and Charlie LOVED licking the bowl, and spoon, and spatula! :) After finishing the cake

*****Devils Food cake with homemade mocha frosting*****
we ate lunch, that way could eat the cake. LOL! Mrs. Phillips had made a venison spaghetti sauce that she put over whole wheat noodles! MMMM.....soooo good, and VERY low fat! YAY! Something I can eat without it bothering me. :) Of course we ate the cake, not so low fat, but worth every bite! :)
After lunch we went outside. The weather was really beautiful. They have a trampoline that we jumped on for a LONG time. It was fun! :)
Later in the afternoon we watched "National Treasure." I had never seen it before, it was cool.

*****Sparky, the Phillips' pit bull puppy, is really sweet and CUTE!! *****

At 5 the McMahon's came over for dinner and a movie. We watched "Fireproof." That was the second time in a week that I've seen it! SOOOO good!
I didn't get home until 10:30! That was cool too! LOL!
Saturday I went soul winning. And then I worked until 6:30. After that i got my stuff from my grandparents, cuz they came back yesterday afternoon, and then talked to my family and friends on the phone, and then went to bed.
Today was a typical Sunday, bus route, church, and choir practice.

Day Off!

Yesterday was my day off! I did actually end up working for an hour in the afternoon, but it was up to me when I wanted to work, so I took my time getting there!
Around 9:00 yesterday morning I went to the Barnes' house. Mrs. Barnes fixed breakfast for all of the girls who are stuck on campus during spring break! She made omelets and Miss Walker made chocolate chip pancakes! It was really good and a LOT of fun! Too much food though.
After that I decided to walk down to "The Village." It is in Stony Brook and is very similar to the Village at Winona for those of you who have been to my house. Its a quaint little shopping center with all sorts of touristy shops. I went cuz I was hoping to find a birthday present for my aunt, but I didn't find anything. :( My roommate works at a coffee shop there, so I stopped by to say "hey"and to get a vanilla latte. It was good.
I took my camera along because I wanted to get pictures of the bay and also of the duck pond.

*****Duck Pond*****
However as I was getting ready to take pictures I noticed that I had left my camera card in my card reader! :( How sad! So I got a few pictures on my phone, but they were not as good as if they had been on my camera. :`(( It really was too bad because it was a BEAUTIFUL day.
After I came back from my walk I decided to eat something take a nap and then work.
Shampooing.....again. This time I had to do the downstairs of the girls dorm which is mainly the laundry room and a lounge area. Once again the shampooer tripped a breaker! It's a good thing Bro. Mushtaq had given me his key on Wednesday cuz he was gone yesterday. So back into the pool area I went. I decided that instead of flipping off all the breakers and turning them all back on again I would try to not have to turn off the power to the entire girls dorm. So I started with just a few and would run back and forth checking to see if I had turned off the right breakers. I ended up turning them all off cuz it was in the last set of breakers that I found the right one for those outlets!! Good grief!

*****The pool room*****

After work I came back to my grandparents and worked on schoolwork. I got quite a bit done two of my projects, which is a good thing. :)
At 5:00 I went with one of the staff ladies to CVS. I was in a desperate situation, I had used up all of my contact solution Tuesday night. I thought that I had another bottle in my room, but after searching high and low I found that I was completely out! Thankfully Mrs. Leeds needed to go to CVS anyways, so I was able to go along with her.
My roommate came over at 6:30 and we watched "Charades" and "The Trouble with Harry." "Charades" was hilarious and very suspenseful. "The Trouble with Harry" was hilarious and completely dumb and pointless. It had a LOT of great one-liners in it!

No Such Luck

So much for the "Luck 'O the Irish" for me today. It just wasn't my day at all, and I even wore green! Good grief!
Today I was supposed to shampoo carpets in the ladies dorm. I started shampooing and it seemed like anything that could go wrong, did! I got about half of the hallway on the first floor done before the water ran out. So I dumped out the dirty water and started to fill the bucket with clean water. I was filling it up in a shower stall, and as it was filling i was standing on the edge of the stall, i slipped so I grabbed the shower head to keep from falling; BAD IDEA!! I managed to pull the shower head out of the wall! It didn't come completely out, but water started to come out the wall instead of the head! OOPS! I was drenched!
I was out in the entry way by the time I needed water again. I filled up the bucket without any problem. I opened the door and then bent over to pick up the bucket and as I stood up I banged my head HARD against the door jam! I knocked my glasses off my face and bent them! Its a good thing I worked in an optical shop last summer and knew how to bend them back! Amazingly I don't have a bruise, but my face is sore!
My next escaped happened when I was shampooing upstairs. There is a little hose on the shampooer that tells how much clean water is left in the machine. Somehow I managed to bump it, and it became unattached from the shampooer and sprayed water all over the place! YAY! I was drenched.....again!
While still upstairs I ran out of cord, so I had to switch outlets. For some reason it blew the fuse! I found the maintenance man once again, and he told me where the breaker box is, it is in the basement of the girls dorm where the swimming pool is located. (The swimming pool is broken so nobody is allowed down their, I had never been down there before.) I couldn't find a breaker that had been tripped so I went back to find the maintenance man and he said to flip all of the breakers off and then turn them all back on. Soooo.....I went all the way back down there and turned them all off and then back on again. Low and behold the outlet worked and I was able to finish shampooing! YAY!
I think that was all the bad things that happened. I finished work soon after that and came back to my grandparents and crashed. I was/am exhausted!

Recording

Friday was one of the most interesting days of my life! I don't ever remember having a day quite like it before! WOW!!
My day started, well I guess dark and early, 3:50 am. I got up and did a condensed version of my morning routine, and was outside waiting for the van by 4:50. Everybody got into the vans and cars with no problem, and we were pulling out of the driveway by 5:10.
Our caravan of 2 15 passenger vans and 3 cars hit the highway with no problem. I was in a van that was driven by my roommate, the other van was driven by one of the college guys, two of the cars were driven by college guys, and Brother Randall was in the other car. We even managed to make it a good ways down the road without anything going wrong. I'm not quite sure where, but around the time we were really starting to get into the city we turned onto another highway and the other van didn't turn with us. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!! It was very interesting. Bro. Randall was frantically trying to get a hold of the van and to figure out how to tell them to meet up with us. Meanwhile, our shortened caravan was continuing on to the Brooklyn Bridge. During a series of twists and turns to get onto the the bridge we lost one of the cars. Thankfully the guy who was driving it knows his way around the city, so there was no worries about him. Our INCREDIBLY shortened caravan continued on the B.B. and then straight through the heart of Manhattan and out the other end through the Holland Tunnel. Somewhere soon after the tunnel the van caught up with us.
Now we were in New Jersey, and it was time for a Dunkin Donuts stop. :) woo hoo!! The college bought donuts for all of us, but if we wanted a drink we had to buy our own. Of course I wanted a drink, so I got a coolatte, that along with a Boston Creme donut made a LOVELY breakfast. :)
We got to Marty's (our engineer) around 9:15. The car that we had lost in Manhattan had already arrived. Amazingly everybody got there, and all in one piece!
The plans were for the choir to record 4 songs. The sopranos and tenors got to record first, it was umm, well, fun I guess. The sopranos were in one room, and the tenors were in a room adjacent to us. Everybody had their own set of headphones through which we heard the music that we sang to, a metronome, what the tenors were singing, and also a microphone that Bro. Randall and Marty talked to us through. After ironing out some wrinkles we were finally able to start recording.
Our first song was "Marching to Zion." It took us an hour in a half to record it! By the time we were done I was exhausted. Thankfully we got a short break while the altos and bases were recording.
While they were recording I took a short walk over a small creek and through some woods to a river. I don't know what the name of it is, but it was very pretty and I was able to take pictures.
All too soon the altos and tenors were done. They had not only recorded "Marching to Zion" but also "Benediction." We were able to record "Benediction" and then it was time for a lunch break. :) We ate pizza. It was good! :)
After an hour break we recorded "O Worship the King" and "God So Loved the World." By this time I think it was after four o'clock. I was really tired. The altos and bases recorded the last two songs and then my roommate had to record for the solo part that she had in "O Worship the King." We left PA a little after 6.
Going back to NY there were only 2 vans cuz the college students that drove their cars were going straight from the recording to home for spring break and Bro. Randall stayed in PA overnight so he could work at the studio on Saturday.
We ate a supper of sandwiches, chips, cookies, and pears in the van.
Our van was supposed to stop just outside of Queens to meet one of the girls' moms so that she could go home for break. Let's just say that it was quite the experience. What should have taken about 5 or 10 minutes took almost an extra 2 hours! It was crazy. Without going into it, let's just say that it got a little scary. During this time, somebody remembered that it was Friday the 13th. That explained a LOT!
We finally got back to campus about 12:15! I ran into my room and grabbed a few things that I would need and then my roommate drove me down to my grandparents house, where I am house/dog sitting for spring break cuz my grandparents are on vacation.
It was about 12:30, and by this time I was wide awake with a major case of insomnia! It was crazy. I thought about trying to sleep, but I knew there was no use. I was supposed to bake a dessert for my Sunday School class, so I decided to bake it right then. I also did quite a few extra things. I finally was able to fall asleep around 3!
Thankfully I didn't have to get up until 8:30 Saturday morning. :)

Last Day of Classes!!

WOO HOO!!!!! I am done with classes!! Well, done with classes until the 23rd. There is still one more day of classes but tomorrow the college choir is going to Reading, PA to record for the next college CD that will be coming out sometime before the end of the school year. We are leaving at 5:00 in the morning!! Insane! It is a several hour trip, and I guess that if we were to leave even half an hour later than that we would get stuck in traffic in the city and add another hour or so to our travelling time!! YUCK either way!
I think classes went well today, but to be honest, my brain really wasn't on classes, it had already gone into spring break mode! I did get a 92 on my Intro to Missions midterm! English Grammar is the only class that I don't yet have my midterm results.
After classes I was able to go with Mrs. Phillips to Port Jefferson. We were going to go to a thrift store, but they were closed. :( We ended up going to Dunkin Donuts instead and were able to sit and chat for about an hour. It was sooooo wonderful!! We were able to talk about serious things, and about God. There are times that I crave talking about God to somebody, but sadly so many Christians don't care about God, even those who are students or faculty of a Bible college.
Church went well last night. Dr. Morgan, who is the founder of the college is here for a few days, so he preached (he also preached chapel this morning). He preached about having victory. It was a really good message.
After church I had a very sad parting. I had to say goodbye to Sherwood, also known as Woody, my cello. :'(( My grandparents are leaving tomorrow for vacation and they are going to Indiana, so I decided to send my cello home with them. I was having a hard time figuring out how I was going to get it home this summer cuz it's really expensive to ship it. This was a good way to get it there.
Since my grandparents will be gone starting tomorrow through next Saturday, I will be house sitting for them. :) It will be sooooo nice cuz I get their apartment all to myself, well I have to share it with their dog, but other than that I will be alone. I'm soooo excited cuz I like being alone, and having peace and quiet, unfortunately that is a VERY rare experience to have in the dorms. It will be so lovely.
I will try to take lots of pictures tomorrow and I'm sure I will have a very long post, whether or not it gets up on Friday or Saturday depends on how late it is when we get back, and how tired I am.

The Longest Week!

I am soooooooooo glad that midterms are FINALLY over! I'm exhausted! I had a total of seven midterms. Two of them were on Thursday, two on Friday, and then one per day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Lord was a HUGE help, and thank you to all of you who prayed for me, I owe a lot to you!
Thursdays exams were Christian Home and Christian Womanhood. I got 100s on both of those! :)
Friday I had English Composition and New Testament Survey. I got an 85 in English and a 90 in New Testament. I was fine with the English grade, I like to write, but I hate taking tests on how to write. I was a little bit disappointed in the NTS grade, I got a couple of outlines messed up, but oh well, it's still a good grade.
Monday was my hardest midterm, the class was World History, which is my hardest class. I got an 84, and the best grade in the class!! That should give you a hint as to how hard it is.
Intro to Missions was my Tuesday midterm. It was interesting to say the least. I don't have the grade back from that, I will get it tomorrow. Yesterday afternoon I saw Dr. Grimbilas who is the teacher and he asked me if I thought that everything that we had covered everything that was on the exam. So, that must mean that nobody did well. He is generally pretty good about curving grades.
Today's exam was English Grammar. I have no idea how well I did. My brain had completely died by the time of the test. I was exhausted and having a hard time with it in general. I hope I did well, I guess I'll find out later.
After the test today I totally zoned out! I really didn't care about anything after it. I had New Testament Survey and honestly, I'm surprised that I caught all of the notes. I was/am emotionally, mentally, and physically drained. Praise the Lord for Mrs. Phillips and her hugs. They made my days sooooo much better, especially today. :)

On Saturday after visiting our bus route I went with several girls to a little Greek/Italian cafe in Stony Brook. It was really good, and pretty decently priced. It was a nice break.

Other than that I don't remember doing anything else besides studying. I'm sure I did more, but at the moment nothing else is coming to mind.

MID TERMS!!

If I don't update my blog very much in the next week, it's not that I don't want to, it is just that mid-terms start tomorrow!! Please pray for me and all of the students here as we endeavor to study and take exams. Thank you!

SNOW!!!

I woke up to what I'm guessing was about a foot of snow on the ground! It was crazy!!
Classes went well. I got an 86% on the test that we took in World History on Friday! I was happy cuz that sure beats the 50 something that I got on the last test! Other than that, nothing terribly exciting happened in any classes. Wait! I take that back, in English Grammar Mrs. Barnes brought us homemade cake! God bless her! It even had chocolate frosting....YUM! She's a WONDERFUL teacher! :)
I worked as usual, although since the Christian school didn't have classes today there wasn't as much to clean. Quite a few of the guys that work on campus in different departments had been transferred to grounds for the day to help shovel snow (by afternoon we had 15 inches of snow), so I begged and pleaded and was allowed to go shovel for over an hour!! It was a BLAST!! :) It beat cleaning bathrooms! I'd do it every day if I could! The snow was really heavy cuz it isn't very cold. It also packed down really well, which is great if you're trying to make snowballs, but not if you're trying to shovel. Oh well, it was still REALLY nice, and I had the time of my life!
I have done pretty much nothing tonight. I'm really tired I guess, and just can't concentrate on anything....:( Thankfully I don't have anything due tomorrow, so it's not the end of the world that I didn't get anything done. :)

God is SO good!

God has really blessed me in many ways this weekend. WOW!! God's greatness goes beyond my wildest expectations. I had several "unspoken" blessings that made me so happy. I really can't go into them because as I said, they are unspoken.
The biggest blessing however is one that I'm very happy to be able to share with you. The medical bills from when I was so sick over Christmas break totaled up to around $25,000.00!! We have a $5,000.00 detectable each year and then insurance will cover 100%. Insurance was taking care of their part, but still my parents owed a LOT of money! Somehow my mom found out about some financial aid through the hospital. She had to fill out LOTS of forms. We weren't expecting more than a couple hundred dollars at the most in help from them. Yesterday they got a letter in the mail that said that ALL of my hospital bills would be paid in full!! That is $4,200.00!! How amazing is that??!! Praise the Lord!!
