This is the day that I highly considered skipping and therefore ending the challenge. I love books. I have many favorites, and I honestly can't narrow it down to just one. Maybe one favorite author...but ONE favorite book...impossible.
I do happen to LOVE Karen Kingsbury, and her Baxter family series' are amazing.
Another favorite book of mine is Sarah Palin's Going Rogue.
