I had a HIDA scan today, don't ask me what that means, I don't know. Pretty much it tested how well my gallbladder works. It was a 2 hour scan! It was great, I got to watch I Love Lucy and The Waltons while it was going on!! :) At least I wasn't bored! Apparently my gallbladder didn't function the way that it is supposed to...answers at last!! Yay!! Things moved very quickly from there, I was able to get in to see a surgeon immediately, God was good. I am going to have my gallbladder removed tomorrow morning bright and early at 8:00! We have to be at the hospital at 6:15! YUCK! The hospital that we are going to is an hour away, soooo we have to leave at 5:15, sure reminds me of college life!
The surgery is out patient, and will take between 30 and 45 minutes. I will be back home sometime tomorrow afternoon or evening.
