TGIF!!!!

Some of you may remember back in January I posted about a friend who was going to Marine boot camp. You can read the post here. Today Lucas graduated from boot camp! he is now one of "The Few. The Proud." CONGRATULATIONS!!! :)
As usual I am sooooo glad that it is FRIDAY!!!!!
Classes went well today. No tests or quizzes, which was VERY good! :) For World History each one of the students has to teach a class. Today was the first day that happened and Tucker was the first one to teach. He did a really good job. I am the next one to teach and I will be teaching next Friday. I will be teaching on WWI. I want to teach that cuz I don't know as much about it as I know about WWII so it'll be a great learning experience for me. I've never taught like this before, I have spoken in front of crowds with no problem, so I don't think I will have an issue, but you never know.
I played the piano in chapel today. I played "The Old Rugged Cross." It is a piece that I played for my Senior recital, all I had to do was practice it a few times and it was good to go. :)
My other classes went well today which was good.
Work was, well, umm, BAD!!! I did nothing but clean bathrooms for four hours! I cleaned the girls dorm bathrooms and all the bathrooms in the administration building. I hate it when I have days like today cuz all the chemicals and the gloves really dry my hands out and I HATE dry cracked hands. I guess that's probably the musician in me coming out!
Today was the first day of the Christian school's candy sale. I walked out of the dorms and was instantly bombarded with kids trying to get me to buy chocolate! How could I resist?! I love a good chocolate bar!! :) I only bought one, and I bought it from the first kid that go to me, although there were quite a few!! :) LOL!
Tonight I went to my grandparents for dinner. We had beef stroganoff, corn, homemade bread, fruit salad, chocolate pudding, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. It was really good. I also threw in a little bit of ice cream too, I had to have that. :)
One thing that I forgot to mention about Christian Womanhood yesterday. This actually goes back to class on Tuesday when we were discussing who the poor were, and what ways we could help them. Somebody had defined poor as "college students." Other than money, the only way that we were able to come up with to help was FOOD!!! So yesterday Mrs. Donaghue said that she decided to practice what she had taught us and so she brought homemade muffins to class with her!! YUM!! :) :) :)
